Skilled Engineers who are capable of integrating new technologies into existing systems are the only hope to close/tighten the gap between developing countries and industrial nations.  Efficient under-/post-graduate programs combined with innovative research and collaborative education are the right track to get these desperately needed Skilled Engineers. The Faculty of Engineering at Ain Shams University, as a leading engineering-education institution, has established such programs.

Vision

ASU-CHEP seeks to be a recognized catalyst of engineering education that offers a high quality, student-centered learning environment such that it is the primary selection for qualified undergraduate engineering students.

Mission

The mission of ASU-CHEP is to meet the needs of the accelerated Egyptian national and regional growth by establishing quality skill-based engineering programs that provide the Egyptian market with engineering fresh graduates in multi-disciplinary broad engineering fields who are equipped with skills, knowledge and advanced methodologies for life-long learning.
