Building Engineering Program

Building engineers are concerned with the planning, design, construction, operation, renovation, and maintenance of buildings, as well as with their impacts on the surrounding environment. Building Engineers deal the architectural, structural, mechanical (HVAC) and construction/management aspects of building structures. The goals of the Building Engineer are to achieve Adequate performance, Adequate factor of safety against overloading, Initial low cost, and Low operation and maintenance cost

This Program will emphasize analysis, design and maintenance of building envelope in hot climate. Employment of building engineers includes site Engineers, design engineers and project management.
