Communication Systems Engineering Program

Communication Systems Engineers deal with a wide knowledge in the areas of Computer Communication Networks and Telecommunication Networks, Multimedia Systems (video and voice), Wireless Communication, Cellular and Satellite Networks, Microwave Communication Systems and Optical Communication Systems. The Communication Systems Engineering Program prepares graduating engineer to develop career in these areas and provides a balanced mixture of Telecommunications, Data communications, Networks, Signal Processing, Photonics, Microwaves, and Optical communications.

Curriculum

A credit-hour system with 180 credit hours which can be completed in 9-10 terms leading to a BSc Degree. The 180 credit hours are divided into the following:

1. University Requirements - Humanity courses

18 credit hours

2. College Requirements:

 

        Basic Science Course

30 credit hours

        Basic Engineering Science Courses

15 credit hours

3. Program Requirements:

 

        Compulsory Courses

96 credit hours

        Technical Elective Courses
