Students has to repeat the
course if he got Grade F (less than 50%)
·
For courses which are
pre-requisites to other courses, students has to repeat them if he got grades
less than C- (less than 60%).
·
The maximum grade student can
get in any repeated course is C.
What is
the GPA?
·
The points which students
obtained in any course = course credit hours X course GPA
·
The student cumulative GPA is
= Sum of the courses’ points / the total no of credit hours
What are
the Graduation Requirements?
·
Student has to complete (and
satisfy the requirements) 180 credit hours in any of the credit hours
programs described in this site.
·
The minimum GPA of the
student required for graduation is 2.00, otherwise the student has to repeat
courses (or register in new elective courses) to raise his GPA to the
graduation requirements.
What are
the Dean’s List and the Scholarships Available to Distinct Students?
·
Students who get a GPS of 3.6
or more (without failing any course) in any term are included in the Dean’s
List for this term.
·
Students in the Dean’s List
(GPA of 3.6 and higher) receive scholarships which is parentage reduction in
their tuition fee. This percentage is directly proportional to the GPA and
the students.
·
Students in the Dean’s list
are allowed to register in 21 credit hours in the following term (average
students is allowed to register only in 18 credit hours)
·
Student who gets a GPA of 3.6
or more throughout his course of study (without failing/repeating any course)
is graduated with an Honour Degree which is included in his graduation
certificate.
What is
the Academic Warning system?
·
A student who gets a GPA less
than 2.00 in any term receives an Academic warning in this term and placed on
probation.
·
Students placed on probation (with
Academic Warnings) cannot register in more than 12 credit hours in the
following term.
·
Students are only allowed to
remain on probation for three consecutive terms (2 Academic Warning), the third time the
student receives a GPA less than 2.00 will expel the students for the
program.
What are
