Materials Engineering Program
Materials engineers manipulate the atom and molecular
structure of substances to create many useful products for our everyday use.
Material Engineering crosses over civil, mechanical, electrical, chemical
engineering and engineering physics. Materials Engineers deals with: Metals
and alloys, Cementitous
materials, Polymers
and composites, Ceramics, Semiconductors,
and Nanomaterials.
Material engineers are involved in the development,
processing, and testing of the materials used to create a range of products,
from computer chips and television and computer screens to golf clubs and
auto parts.
